Welcome to Mackay Decorators (Perth) Ltd, a professional team of painters and decorators based in the Fair City of Perth, capital of The Big Tree County, land of giants.  We specialise in all aspects of interior and exterior decorating for commercial and residential customers in Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow areas (but also undertake specialist projects from the South of England to the North of Scotland).  We are one of the leading companies of decorators of properties ranging from substantial period property renovations such as historic castles, churches, blocks of flats, commercial offices, supermarkets scaling down to the smallest of terraced cottages.

We are a well established business built on recommendation and reputation and have been providing a high quality, professional and friendly service for our customers since 1857!  Our experience and knowledge enables us to advise on all aspects of decoration, painting, wallpapers, colour selection, problem solving and suitability of products if required.  We also offer a wide range of specialist techniques not offered by most decorating companies.  (Take a look at our projects page to see some of our more decorative works).

We comply with all government health and safety regulations, have full public liability insurance and are members of The Scottish Decorators Federation.  We are preferred painters for many restorative charities and established bodies such as Historic Scotland, National Galleries of Scotland and National Trust for Scotland.

We are committed to quality workmanship and attention to detail, which will enhance the appearance of your property.  Although all of our tradesmen are traditionally trained, we use the latest paint systems and techniques to produce the highest quality finishes at affordable prices.
